Over the years there are always some movies that you might have missed. Usually it’s because the movie either had a smaller budget or maybe it just didn’t make it to the big screen. Well here is a list of 10 horror movies you might have missed that are worth checking out. This list is in no particular order either so watch them in any order your little heart desires. 

1. Carriers (2009)

A deadly virus has spread across the globe. Contagion is everywhere, no one is safe, and no one can be trusted. Four friends race through the back roads of the American West on their way to a secluded utopian beach in the Gulf of Mexico where they could peacefully wait out the pandemic. Their plans take a grim turn when their car breaks down on an isolated road starting a chain of events that will seal their fates.

2. The Green Inferno (2013)

A group of idealistic college students set head off to the Peruvian jungle. Their aim is to make an ecological statement by hindering the operations of a logging company, and streaming this live to YouTube. They succeed in this but on the way back their plane crashes. The survivors now have to deal with the cannibalistic tribe that lives in those parts.

3. Color Out Of Space (2019)

The Gardner family moves to a remote farmstead in rural New England to escape the hustle of the 21st century. They are busy adapting to their new life when a meteorite crashes into their front yard, melts into the earth, and infects both the land and the properties of space-time with a strange, otherworldly colour. To their horror, the family discovers this alien force is gradually mutating every life form that it touches—including them.

4. Dangerous Animals (2025)

When Zephyr, a savvy and free-spirited surfer, is abducted by a shark-obsessed serial killer and held captive on his boat, she must figure out how to escape before he carries out a ritualistic feeding to the sharks below.

5. Dark Was The Night (2014)

An evil is unleashed in a small town when a logging company sets up shop in the neighboring woods.

6. Heretic (2024)

A diabolical Mr. Reed (Hugh Grant) ensnares two young missionaries in his terrifying game of cat-and-mouse when they knock on the wrong door and are forced to prove their faith.
 

7. Nightwatch (2004)

A fantasy-horror set in present-day Moscow where the respective forces that control daytime and nighttime do battle.

8. Summer Of 84 (2018)

After suspecting that their police officer neighbor is a serial killer, a group of teenage friends spend their summer spying on him and gathering evidence, but as they get closer to discovering the truth, things get dangerous.

9. The Belko Experiment (2016)

In a twisted social experiment, eighty Americans are locked in their high-rise corporate office in Bogotá, Colombia, and ordered by an unknown voice coming from the company’s intercom system to participate in a deadly game of kill or be killed.
 

10. The Host (2006)

An American military base of Yongson releases toxic chemicals in the drain to the Han River under the direct order of an arrogant U.S. Army coroner. Six years later, a mutant squid monster leaves the water and attacks people on the side of the river.
