About Us

Welcome to your safe haven for brutally honest movie reviews! We don’t do fluff, fake hype, or sugar-coating—if a movie rocks, we’ll shout it from the rooftops. If it’s a total disaster, we’ll tell you straight up (so you can save your popcorn and dignity).

Sick of scrolling through fake five-star reviews that clearly came from a robot—or worse, your cousin’s friend? We’ve got you. Here, you’ll get the unfiltered truth on your favorite films: the hits, the misses, and the “what were they thinking?!” moments. Grab some snacks and let’s find out if that movie is worth your time… or your tears.

Forget perfect 10s—you’re not going to see one here. A 10 would mean the movie is the absolute best ever made, and honestly, that’s just setting yourself up for disappointment.

And those extreme ratings? We’re over them. A 0/10 or half a star doesn’t make a movie “the worst ever.” Trust us—there’s always something worse lurking out there. We like our ratings real, honest, and a little less dramatic.

Understanding Our Rating System

We skip the boring old stars and go with gavels instead—because movies deserve a little judgment. The scale still runs from 0 to 10, where 10 means “take a bow, this is awesome,” and 0 means… well, maybe stick to something that won’t make you wish you would rather be watching paint dry.

At the bottom of each Judge’s review, you’ll see an icon and an overall verdict of each movie. Below will give you a better understanding of what each one means. (However it should be self-explanatory)

If you see this icon, it means we definitely approve this movie. Overall, it’s one you can watch without worry—it’s unlikely to disappoint or leave you regretting your time.

If you see this icon, it means the movie is just okay. It’s probably not going to blow you away, but it might be worth a watch. Opinions will vary—some will hate it, some will love it—which is why we call it a hung jury.

If you see this icon, it means the movie is awful. Seriously, consider avoiding it at all costs—that’s why it’s getting the death penalty.

NOTE: These are our ratings and opinions, plain and simple. Don’t like them? Cool—just don’t scream at your screen like a toddler. If you’ve got thoughts of your own, go ahead and write your own review—we’d love to see it.
